Robyn Ruckel I have always been a creative spirit. Artistic expression wasn’t a matter of choice, it was who I was. As I was growing up in the 60’s and 70’s I used just about every medium available at the time for putting art on a page; crayon, pencil, charcoal, acrylic paint. Then the 80’s came and along with them came the computer age and a whole new set of ways to show off artistic capabilities. I developed an avid curiosity about the worldwide web and websites and what it took to put it all together. By the time the 90’s were half over I had learned much on my own but it was like scattered pieces of a puzzle that had some pieces missing. I made a decision. I would go to college and find the missing pieces. It took a few years and a lot of hard work but in 2004 I finally enrolled in college. I have since worked on many website projects, varying in depth from updating a little html to putting together full websites with a multitude of pages, functional forms and very complex navigation. I’ve also worked a lot with Drupal, Zen Cart and learned a bit about WordPress blogs. My free time is spent honing my skills in css, html, search engine optimization and all the software necessary to put design elements and code together to create beautiful, functional websites. I have been with Rejuvenation Institute of Natural Health, as webmaster, since its inception. It’s been an exciting journey so far and it’s been a pleasure working with Anne and Matt, whose endless enthusiasm and energy is truly inspiring.
