About 7 years ago I was diagnosed with a severe case of Graves Disease. My heart raced out of control, I was weak, and in time my eyes bulged out of their eye sockets, and that’s a brief description of my terrible symptoms. It’s a terrible disease. I had the best endocrinologist in San Diego who in time gave me no option but to have my thyroid removed. I have not met one person who’s had it removed who has not had other problems.

Long story short, I was given two weeks until it’s removal, found someone who introduced me to the oils, started using everything suggested in the Essential OIls book, and at my follow up lab testing my thyroid levels showed some improvement. This is after a steady and severe decline over a year. My doctor said he would wait until my next scheduled lab tests to see if removal could be held off for a while.

I am here to report, I have been in remission for 3 years now. I still take thryomin daily, just because I know it won’t hurt me. I still apply up to 10 oils weekly on my thyroid area as a precaution. I do still have a racing heart at times and take a medication as needed, but even those symptoms are getting better. Just because I am in remission, as my doctor explained it, doesn’t mean it won’t take some time for certain issues to go away..i e seldom racing heart, poor fine motor skills and such.

I know if I had my thyroid removed, I’d still have more severe issues that would have no hope of every going away.

I can give you more information if you’d like, but that’s essentially my story.

Oh and my doctor said, no one ever goes into remission as I did…
